Congratulations to Stephanie!!
Just wanted to put a quick note in her for Stephanie. She had an awesome WAC championship meet over the weekend. She ended up with a 3rd place finish in the 50 free, a 2nd place finish in the 200 free and a 1st place finish in the 100 free! She was also on a couple of relays that place 2nd and 4th...not too bad for a freshman.

yeah nice job Steph....so why aren't you getting a full ride? It might be time renegotiate your contract!
ReplyDeleteSo Jeff asked me if I had heard about Stephanie, then he proceeded to tell me she was in the hospital with a blood clot in her leg. He had me going for like 20 minutes and he wouldn't let me call anyone because it was 11 in Texas. Jerk.

The meet was pretty fun to watch, mainly because Steph is so freakin' competitive. I didn't think that she would be able to reel in college swimmers like she was able to do in high school, but she did. Her anchor leg in the 800 free relay was one of the most awesome races I've watched, and if she had had another 10 yards to swim Boise would have gotten 2nd instead of 4th. Her individual races were kind of fun to watch too. Way to go Stephanie!
